 A Unique Microphone-to-Line Preamplifier in an XLR Plug The Maycom MicTube is a high-quality, professional balanced microphone preamplifier housed in an elongated XLR connector. It is powered by one single AAA battery that will last up to 30 hours. Its purpose is to raise the microphone's output to line level so you can plug it into the line input of a sound recording device.
Input gain control is provided via a mini-potentiometer on the side of the MicTube and 3-colour LEDs are also provided to show level and overload readout indication.
