Compact Portable Linear PCM Recorder

IN OUR OPINION : If you've been looking for a better and more recent alternative
to the ever popular but now discontinued Roland/Edirol R-09HR then this is it!

The PCM-M10 is really compact 96 kHz/24-bit capable recorder with internal electret condenser stereo microphones, 4Gb of internal flash memory and a microSD/Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot for expanded memory. Key features of the PCM-M10 recorder include a built-in speaker, cross-memory recording, digital pitch and key control, digital limiter, low-cut filter, track mark functions, a 5-second pre-recording buffer and A-B repeat capability. The recorder includes a USB high-speed port for simple uploading and downloading of native .WAV or .MP3 format recorded files to and from a Windows or Mac PC. The M10 offers durable construction and long battery life using conventional AA alkaline

batteries.

• Built-in Electret Condenser Microphones

• Versatile Recording Functions

The PCM-M10 offers comprehensive signal processing features for location recording including: digital limiter, auto record level control and a digital low cut filter. The PCM-M10 also includes a 5 second pre record buffer, cross-memory recording and track marking functions.

• Expandable Memory

With a 4GB built-in memory, the PCM-M10 records up to six hours when recording in 44.1kHz 16-bit CD quality mode. And its microSD/Memory Stick Micro slot enables even more memory expandability.

• Flexible Playback functions

The PCM-M10 includes both digital pitch control and key control. Digital pitch control maintains pitch while slowing down or speeding up playback speed. Key control allows changing the pitch while maintaining playback speed.

• PC/Mac Compatible

The PCM-M10 conforms to the USB 2.0 Mass Storage Class Device standard and this recorder's native recording file formats include .WAV and .MP3. This means recordings can be rapidly uploaded to a computer and used in conjunction with most commonly available audio production software.

• Robust Construction

Constructed of lightweight metal (aluminium), the PCM-M10 recorder is built to withstand the demands of professional applications.

*We do not advise using the larger cards unless absolutely necessary because you will lose a huge amount of valuable data if the card is physically mislaid (quite easy because they are very small!) or should the card become corrupted (rare, but it can happen). Far better to use the smallest practical card size for your needs (usually 2Gb or 4Gb), and just buy several of them to interchange. Much, much safer!
